As a Field Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring community safety by conducting gas leak detection, performing field inspections, and compiling accurate reports. This hands-on role combines fieldwork with the use of advanced GIS tools to visualize and analyze data. If you do not have prior natural gas experience that is ok! Whether you're starting your career or bringing relevant experience from construction, HVAC, or field locating, this position offers training and growth opportunities in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Requirements

  • Practical skills and a desire to learn are just as valuable.
  • Experience in leak surveys, construction, or customer interaction is a bonus but not mandatory.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field is helpful, but it’s not required.

Responsibilities

  • Detecting and Reporting Gas Leaks: Use your hands-on skills to identify, assess, and report gas leaks, contributing to the safety of communities and infrastructure.
  • Mastering GIS Tools: Learn to work with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create meaningful visualizations from raw data.
  • Supporting Clients: Act as a resource for clients, providing support with our advanced FlowGIS and Esri software.
  • Compiling and Communicating Data: Translate daily progress into clear and concise reports, ensuring all stakeholders understand the results of our work.
