About The Position
SYTE Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Leak Survey Technicians. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and play a vital role in protecting communities by identifying and documenting natural gas leaks. No industry experience is required—paid training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to walk 4–7 miles daily and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Basic technology skills (smartphone/tablet).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Conduct natural gas leak surveys using specialized equipment.
- Locate, classify, and document gas leaks and abnormal operating conditions.
- Perform leak investigations and atmospheric corrosion inspections.
- Complete required reports and compliance documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and the public.
- Work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards.
