About The Position

The Maintenance Lead oversees daily maintenance operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance of facility systems and equipment. This hands-on role includes guiding maintenance personnel, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and adherence to safety standards are essential in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Full understanding of production processes, quality control methods, and relevant tools.
Have a thorough understanding of Chief’s ERP system (IFS).
Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production schedules are met.
Effectively guide and motivate teams, delegate tasks, and foster a positive work environment, while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Identify and resolve issues that impact production efficiency or quality.
Apply company policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
Responsible for creating a collaborative, safe and hazard free environment that is driven by employee involvement.
Leading departmental continuous improvement projects, supporting and executing all safety and health policies and programs, employee training and incident investigations.
