About The Position

This is an exempt position responsible for directing the operation of the hospital, including inpatient units, ancillary, and support departments. The role requires a recognized role model for clinical expertise with a documented ability to make prompt, quality decisions in a clinical setting. The position demands sufficient energy to support staff through change, excellent interpersonal skills, and fairness in applying policies. The ability to calmly manage multiple intense activities or problems simultaneously, along with a history of dependability and a strong work ethic to motivate others, is essential. This is a temporary role with no overtime, holiday premiums, or call/call-back pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) [required]
  • RN
  • Documented evidence of continuing education and continued professional growth and progress in health care and nursing.
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle.
  • Traveler's perm address must be included in profile.
  • Any/All RTO must be included in profile.
  • ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of successful leadership experience [strongly preferred]
  • Experience in successful conflict resolution [preferred]
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the daily operations of an acute care Medical Center, including experience handling emergency/trauma and critical care situations.
  • Working knowledge of staffing systems preferred.
