About The Position

This role is focused on fundamentally changing how leadership shows up in the business, rather than just delivering on a training plan. The Leadership Development Manager will partner with the VP of Learning & Talent to enhance manager effectiveness, boost engagement, improve talent discussions, and create practical solutions for leaders. The ideal candidate is excited by bold building, data-driven problem-solving, experimentation with new tools, and helping leaders become more effective.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in leadership development, talent development, organizational development, manager effectiveness, or a related field.
  • Experience working directly with leaders and managers at multiple levels.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, consulting, and influence skills.
  • Ability to translate data and insights into practical action.
  • Demonstrated clear business impact, not simply program delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with employee engagement surveys, talent review, succession planning, or performance management enablement.
  • Experience with talent platforms such as Lattice.
  • Comfort experimenting with AI tools, agents, simulations, and practical use cases that improve learning, coaching, or organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manager and leadership capability development.
  • Strengthen expectations for effective people leadership across the organization.
  • Design practical leadership and manager development experiences tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Build scalable tools, coaching support, and reinforcement strategies to help managers succeed.
  • Drive talent and engagement outcomes.
  • Lead engagement survey administration, interpretation, and manager action planning.
  • Help managers improve coaching, feedback, development, and performance conversations.
  • Translate employee feedback, performance trends, and talent data into actionable recommendations.
  • Scale impact through data and AI.
  • Use data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities related to manager effectiveness.
  • Experiment with AI tools, agents, simulations, and other emerging approaches to make leadership development more practical, scalable, and engaging.
  • Measure leadership development effectiveness and connect efforts to meaningful outcomes.
