About The Position
The Leadership Coach provides structured, results-oriented coaching to federal leaders participating in leadership development initiatives. This is a formal coaching role, not mentoring. Participants are expected to act on guidance and complete development actions aligned with OPM ECQs. Roles may require surge-period availability during high-volume tasking.
Requirements
- Professional coaching certification (ICF, EMCC, or equivalent).
- Experience coaching federal leaders (GS-13 to SES).
- Strong documentation, reporting, and virtual delivery skills.

- CAM – Certified Associate Mentor
- CMM – Certified Master Mentor
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one coaching engagements lasting up to six months.
- Use Stafford’s coaching dashboard to track sessions, metrics, and assessments.
- Provide unlimited asynchronous support through approved communication tools.
- Administer coaching agreements outlining confidentiality and expectations.
- Conduct intake, goal-setting, and development planning sessions.
- Administer assessments (360, MBTI, DiSC) with COR approval.
- Submit monthly coaching status reports and end-of-engagement evaluations.
- Maintain non-personal services boundaries at all times.
