The Leadership Board Member supports completion of launch steps 8–10 and helps operate a live LifeWise program. Board members provide input and direction to the program director on day-to-day operations and assist across the five areas of operations: Leadership, Location, Logistics, Loot, and Language. This includes recruiting and onboarding staff and volunteers; researching, securing, and preparing facilities and transportation; coordinating details and maintaining positive communications with the school; leading fundraising and managing budgets and finances; and ensuring public communications are excellent and appropriately messaged. The board should have three to nine members in addition to the program director, represent at least three churches and the wider Christian community, and assign responsibility for each of the five operational areas. Members may take responsibility for more than one area. Members are expected to complete role-specific training, a background check and child-protection training every three years, diligently execute the T-Minus Plan before launch, participate in fundraising and scheduled meetings, pray consistently for the local program, and commit to at least one year of service. Board members may not hold a paid position within the program while serving. Applicants are directed to apply through the program webpage using the “Join the Team” button; the LifeWise team will contact applicants with next steps. This is a volunteer role.
