The Leadership Board Member is a volunteer role supporting the launch and operation of a local LifeWise program. The leadership board assists with launch steps 8–10 and provides input and direction to the program director as they manage day-to-day operations. The board supports five areas of operations: Leadership (recruiting and onboarding program staff and volunteers), Location (researching, securing, and preparing facilities and transportation), Logistics (coordinating details and maintaining positive school communications), Loot (leading fundraising and managing the budget and finances), and Language (ensuring public communications are excellent and properly aligned with the program’s messaging). The board should have three to nine members in addition to the program director, represent at least three churches and the broader Christian community, and assign responsibility for each of the five operational areas. Board members may cover more than one area. Members must meet the stated faith and church participation expectations, complete training and background-check requirements, contribute to pre-launch planning and fundraising, attend meetings, serve for at least one year, and pray consistently for the local program. Board members may not hold a paid position within the program while serving on its leadership board. Applicants apply through the program webpage using the “Join the Team” button. Applicants will be contacted by the LifeWise team with next steps.
