About The Position

The LOD Consultant I supports enterprise initiatives by assisting leaders and teams successfully plan and adopt changes to work, roles, and workflows. This role is on the Organizational Development team and supports the full range of organizational development work including consulting, change management, cultural initiatives as well as training and facilitation. The following states are currently paused for sourcing new candidates or for new relocation requests for current caregivers: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington. Job Description (Why this role matters) This role is an essential partner to leaders and teams build capability and adapt to change, especially as AI, automation and digital tools transform clinical and non-clinical workflows. In addition, you’ll work independently and often on multidisciplinary teams to provide consulting at all levels of the organization doing Organizational Development. By partnering closely with experienced consultants, you’ll turn complex ideas, including those related to automation and AI-driven change, into practical, usable solutions that improve caregiver experience and performance while shaping our culture. Plan and facilitate learning, workshops, and conversations that help leaders and caregivers understand work design, systems thinking, navigate change, and participate in cultural initiatives Leverage, assessment, AI, design thinking, human factors, change science, and adult learning to build individual, team and organizational capabilities. Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable tools, job aids, graphics and learning materials that support adoption and clarity Partner with cross-functional consultants, leaders, and teams in a large, matrixed organization to implement change, culture initiatives, and technology-enabled solutions Help coordinate large projects, lead small projects independently, track progress, and support implementation of deliverables Bring a strong collaborative mindset to everything you do Overall, you’ll continuously learn with and from experienced consultants, work on meaningful enterprise initiatives, and build skills in work design, learning, and change, including exposure to AI and automation, while helping teams do work more efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience with organizational change, especially helping teams adopt new processes or improve how work gets done including the adoption of new technologies such as AI and automation
  • Exposure to work design principles, human factors, process mapping, task analysis, and workflow improvement tools
  • Exposure to evaluating contextual factors such as physical layout, team dynamics, climate, and technology and its impact on design
  • Exposure to automation, digital tools, or AI‑enabled changes to work
  • Experience managing small projects independently
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings and conversations with executive leaders and teams
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Ability to network and build executive level relationships and influence in a large complex organization
  • Basic understanding of instructional design

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, I/O Psychology, Human Factors, Systems Thinking, or related field
  • Experience with work system design, process mapping, task analysis, workflow improvement, or technology-driven transformation
  • Experience working alongside operational improvement, human factors, engineering, change practitioners and digital transformation partners
  • Experience with automation, digital, or AI‑enabled changes to work
  • Certifications in change management, facilitation, project management, or instructional design
  • Experience working in a variety of healthcare settings
  • Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information. - and - Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. - and - See and read computer monitors and documents. - and - Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
