About The Position

Leader of Technology Brixey & Meyer is seeking a forward-thinking Leader of Technology to shape and advance the firm’s technological vision. This role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide IT strategy, ensuring reliable and secure infrastructure, and enabling innovative, scalable solutions that support both internal operations and exceptional client service. As a newly established role, this position reflects the firm’s investment in technology as a core strategic priority. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, partnering with firm leadership, managing external technology partners, and staying ahead of emerging trends, including AI-driven solutions. This role is ideal for a technology professional who thrives in a fast-paced, professional services environment and is energized by continuous improvement and transformational change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of experience leading IT initiatives or managing complex technology environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including mentoring and team development.
• Strong process orientation and proven project management capability.
• Demonstrated experience leading transformational or change initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive, innovative, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to Brixey & Meyer office locations.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented culture.

• HubSpot or similar CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s technology strategy, architecture, and infrastructure to ensure secure, stable, and scalable systems aligned with business goals.
• Develop and execute a forward‑looking IT roadmap, including evaluation and integration of AI‑enabled solutions.
• Oversee networks, systems, applications, data, and cybersecurity, ensuring regulatory compliance and data protection.
• Manage relationships with the firm’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) and ensure high‑quality end‑user support.
• Own IT budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Direct system upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity efforts.
• Partner with firm leadership to understand business need and deliver technology solutions that enhance operations and client service.
• Establish and maintain technology policies, standards, and procedures to manage risk and support firm growth.
