Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence. As a Leader EHS, you will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) activities.

Requirements

  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) compliance activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage regulatory permits and maintain relationships with local, state, and governmental agencies.
  • Drive facility-wide safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture across a 150-person, 1+ million sq. ft. operation.
  • Oversee site security programs and manage third-party security providers.
  • Lead incident management activities, including recordable injury tracking, investigations, corrective actions, and communications.
  • Identify environmental, health, and safety hazards and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure completion of required EHSS training to meet regulatory and business requirements.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with company standards and government regulations.
  • Monitor EHSS performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Address complex environmental and operational challenges associated with the facility's size, age, and location.
