About The Position

This role involves leading yard operations, including delegating daily tasks, verifying inventory, resolving conflicts, and maintaining team morale. The Lead Yard Operations will also be responsible for training new hires and upskilling existing employees. Additionally, the position requires providing labor support, driving pool vehicles, and adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Travel less than 10%
• Having a Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Assigning daily tasks to crew members
• Verifying inventory
• Resolving conflicts
• Encouraging the team, recognizing wins, and maintaining overall morale
• Training new hires and upskilling existing employees
• Provide Labor support
• Drive Pool vehicles to designated work areas
• Follow all JHA's and complete all work assignments
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
