About The Position
This position assists Material Handlers to ensure branch success, excellent customer service, and uphold a positive company image. The Lead Material Handler is responsible for all activities in the yard/warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks safely, properly, and timely, and filling orders accurately. This role also assists in maintaining proper inventory levels by keeping the yard neat, clean, and orderly. The Lead Material Handler plans out daily tasks and goals, communicates them to the team daily, and strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods. The role involves working outdoors in diverse weather conditions and performing other duties as required by business needs or as assigned. The team works together to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- 3 plus years experience in a warehouse/yard position
- Bilingual Required
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
