Salesforce is seeking a Lead, Workforce Intelligence to help shape the future of employee listening and organizational research. This role sits at the intersection of data science, data engineering, behavioral science, and people analytics, helping transform complex workforce and employee experience data into scalable intelligence that drives strategic business decisions. As a member of the Workforce Intelligence team, you will partner with researchers, analysts, HR leaders, and technical teams to transform workforce data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across the company. You will help establish scalable approaches for analyzing employee feedback, collaboration patterns, communication signals, and emerging workforce datasets while ensuring insights remain interpretable, actionable, and grounded in sound scientific principles. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving between strategy and execution: designing analytical frameworks, developing machine learning and LLM solutions, creating reusable intelligence assets, and partnering closely with engineering teams to operationalize workforce intelligence capabilities. You will play a critical role in shaping how Salesforce listens to and learns from its workforce in the age of AI. In this role, you will combine expertise in data science, computational social science, employee research, and applied AI to transform fragmented workforce data into scalable intelligence. You will help identify and operationalize new sources of workforce insight, develop innovative approaches for analyzing employee experience and collaboration data, and create reusable intelligence assets that enable deeper understanding of organizational health, workforce dynamics, and how work happens across Salesforce. Working across structured and unstructured datasets, you will apply methods such as natural language processing, network analysis, machine learning, and large language models to uncover meaningful patterns and generate actionable insights. You will partner closely with data engineering and technology teams to help operationalize new workforce sensing capabilities, contributing technical expertise that bridges exploratory research and scalable analytics solutions. You will play a key role in advancing how Salesforce leverages employee listening, collaboration signals, and digital trace data to inform workforce strategy, employee experience, talent outcomes, and organizational effectiveness. A successful candidate combines strong technical depth with intellectual curiosity and a consulting mindset. You are energized by ambiguous problems, capable of independently driving work from concept through implementation, and skilled at influencing stakeholders through evidence-based recommendations. You are comfortable working across disciplines and can effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
