Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Lead Windows Administrator to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This opportunity will require the candidate to work onsite in downtown Washington, DC, five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: We are looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of a Lead Windows Administrator. The ideal Lead Windows Administrator will: Oversee endpoint management and IT workflows, ensuring a secure and seamless end-user experience. Be responsible for leading patch management, software deployment, encryption, and automation activities. Be responsible for patch management, ensuring patches are thoroughly tested for functionality, compatibility, and potential conflicts with existing infrastructure and applications. Proactively monitor and address security vulnerabilities, working closely with security teams to mitigate risks. Be responsible for automation and workflow optimization related to device provisioning, patch management, encryption management, software deployment, and other IT workflows. Leverage scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, and Intune, to optimize desktop engineering processes. Be required to work onsite in downtown Washington, DC, five (5) days per week.
