About The Position

YipitData is seeking a Lead Web Designer & Developer to own the design and development of its public-facing websites. This hands-on role spans user experience, visual design, and responsive implementation in Webflow. The position will establish the systems, templates, and technical foundations that help teams publish high-quality content quickly and consistently, while evolving the websites into a scalable growth platform that supports the company’s businesses, brand, and audiences. As YipitData’s in-house website design and development expert, this person will partner with Design, Brand and Communications, Demand Generation, Corporate and Investor Marketing, Product, and other business stakeholders. The role will also build internal website expertise and reduce long-term reliance on external agencies. This is a fully remote US role, which may be based in NYC, an office hub, or elsewhere in the United States. The standard schedule is approximately 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with flexibility to occasionally accommodate meetings across East and West Coast time zones. Depending on where remote work is performed, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing and building high-quality marketing or corporate websites, with a portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design as well as hands-on implementation.
  • High proficiency in Webflow, including CMS architecture, reusable components, responsive layouts, interactions, and custom code when needed.
  • Strong front-end fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot technical and implementation issues independently.
  • Deep experience with responsive design, information architecture, design systems, accessibility standards, browser compatibility, and website performance.
  • Ability to own work from initial request through discovery, design, stakeholder alignment, development, quality assurance, launch, and iteration.
  • Ability to balance high visual standards with pragmatic execution, knowing when to refine and when to ship, learn, and improve.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to translate among design, marketing, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to use qualitative feedback and quantitative signals to improve user experience, content discoverability, conversion, and site performance.
  • Clear communication, thoughtful management of competing priorities, and responsibility for outcomes without waiting for detailed direction.
  • Flexibility to occasionally accommodate meetings across East and West Coast time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Figma and component-based design systems.
  • Experience connecting Webflow with analytics, marketing automation, CRM, forms, APIs, or other third-party platforms.
  • Experience working with multiple brands, audiences, or business lines within one organization.
  • Experience collaborating with external design and development agencies and reducing reliance on them.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design and development of public-facing websites, from early concepts and user flows through launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Translate business objectives, brand strategy, content requirements, and growth opportunities into clear information architecture and compelling web experiences.
  • Design and build responsive, accessible, production-ready pages, templates, components, and interactions in Webflow.
  • Create and maintain a scalable website design system to improve consistency, quality, and speed across web properties.
  • Serve as technical owner of the Webflow environment, including CMS architecture, reusable components, custom code, integrations, permissions, documentation, and publishing workflows.
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Marketing on SEO and AEO, conversion optimization, experimentation, analytics, lead flows, and campaign launches.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Communications to ensure website experiences reflect YipitData’s visual identity, narrative, voice, and editorial standards.
