About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Wealth Management Banker - Professional Services (SAFE). In this role, you will lead complex initiatives to develop new and manage existing High Net Worth client relationships with broad impact and act as a key participant in large-scale planning for Wealth Management Banking. You will work as part of a Wealth team that utilizes an integrated planning approach to recommend strategies that utilize Wells Fargo's individual and institutional capabilities to create, enhance, and maintain client wealth. You will review and analyze complex custom credit and deposit strategies and solutions to clients that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. You will utilize solid banking practices to strategize and advise clients on appropriate credit and deposit strategies and products and to manage complex customized credit portfolios. You will make decisions in banking practices to strategize and advise clients on appropriate credit and deposit strategies and products, and manage complex customized credit portfolios requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. You will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, and interact with internal and external customers. This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Wealth Management Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 & 66 must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire.
  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies.
  • The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards.
  • A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation.
  • Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
