About The Position

Lake Lawn Resort is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Watersports Attendant to help oversee daily waterfront rental operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role supports marina management with staff guidance, rental operations, guest safety, and equipment oversight while maintaining a professional and welcoming lakeside environment.

Requirements

  • Previous boating, marina, watersports, recreation, leadership, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to provide clear safety instructions and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and around water for extended periods.
  • Must be able to swim 100 yards without flotation assistance.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and guest-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible seasonal schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Assistant Watersports Manager and Supervisors with daily operations of the rental center and marina activities.
  • Help lead and support seasonal watersports staff while maintaining high guest service standards.
  • Fuel rental boats and transport equipment between the marina and rental center.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of rental buildings, docks, piers, and waterfront grounds.
  • Operate cash registers, process rental payments, and handle credit card transactions accurately.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures for the watersports rental operation.
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Educate guests on the safe and proper operation of rental boats and watersports equipment.
  • Explain rental agreements, waivers, and operational procedures to guests.
  • Assist with non-motorized rentals including kayaks, paddleboards, and related equipment.
  • Monitor rental equipment and watercraft activity on the lake to ensure safety and timely returns.
  • Help resolve guest or operational issues occurring at the rental center, marina, or piers.
  • Assist with waterfront maintenance including seaweed and debris removal from harbor and rental areas.
  • Represent Lake Lawn Resort professionally while providing exceptional hospitality and guest experiences.
  • Support training of new team members on procedures, safety, and customer service expectations.
  • Perform additional marina and watersports duties as assigned by management.
