Lead Wastewater Tech
About The Position
This role involves leading shift activities, operating and monitoring the wastewater treatment system, and performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections. The Lead Wastewater Tech will be responsible for clearing blockages, cleaning screens, maintaining proper flow, and diagnosing/fixing low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, and Level transducers. This position also includes repairing equipment, maintaining maintenance and wastewater treatment logs, conducting basic lab analyses, and communicating issues to management. All other relevant duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must hold a waste water license or be able to get a waste water license within 12 month of employment.
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities
