About The Position

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team at our Grand Prairie, TX location! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. A Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring safety, productivity, and accuracy in inventory management.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
  • Ability to investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues.
  • Ability to monitor employee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Ability to ensure quality standards and customer service expectations are consistently met.
  • Ability to assist with scheduling, workflow planning, and shift coverage when necessary.
  • Ability to lead by example by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prepare reports and communicate operational updates to warehouse management.
  • Ability to perform hands-on warehouse duties as needed to support the team and meet business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
  • Assign work tasks and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.
  • Train, coach, and mentor new and existing warehouse employees.
  • Ensure all receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to prioritize workloads and resolve operational issues.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
