About The Position

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team at our Grand Prairie, TX location! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. A Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring safety, productivity, and accuracy in inventory management.

Experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
Ability to investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues.
Ability to monitor employee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
Ability to ensure quality standards and customer service expectations are consistently met.
Ability to assist with scheduling, workflow planning, and shift coverage when necessary.
Ability to lead by example by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ability to prepare reports and communicate operational updates to warehouse management.
Ability to perform hands-on warehouse duties as needed to support the team and meet business demands.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
Assign work tasks and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.
Train, coach, and mentor new and existing warehouse employees.
Ensure all receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to prioritize workloads and resolve operational issues.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
