About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking safety-conscious and outgoing warehouse associates to join an excellent team. This role provides support and some supervision to regular warehouse associate functions, working closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. The position involves a variety of responsibilities to meet supervisor expectations. Applicants must be willing to work in refrigerated, freezer, and non-climate-controlled environments. The pay is $24.58 per hour. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays and have flexibility to cover other shifts if needed. Effective communication with both English and Spanish speaking associates is required.

Responsibilities

• Using various forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Executes & provides process & project visibility to Operations Supervisor
• Train new hires on processes and job duties
• Expert in warehouse functions
• Leads & complies with Safety and Well Being efforts on assigned shift
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
