Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior food service experience required, preferably in a lead position
Experience waiting tables preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise other wait staff/food service workers to ensure that all jobs are done in a timely manner
Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies.
Work with nursing and other dining staff to serve residents
Ensures all food service department policies and safety rules are followed
Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays
Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths when needed
Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service
Serve food to customers when waiters or waitresses need assistance
