About The Position
Noah's Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort is seeking a veterinarian who wants a seat at the table and the opportunity to influence medical standards, mentor a team, and help shape the future of a growing privately owned practice. This position combines clinical practice with opportunities for leadership and influence, with the potential to evolve into a Responsible Veterinarian or Medical Director role depending on interests and experience. The practice is a privately owned small-animal practice located in Millersville, Maryland, between Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C. They believe great hospitals are built through partnership and aim to create an environment where excellent medicine, strong culture, and sustainable work-life balance can coexist.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Maryland veterinary license (or eligibility)
- DEA license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Interest in mentorship, collaboration, and hospital development
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience is welcomed but not required
- Someone who enjoys building something alongside a team and takes pride in helping a practice grow
Responsibilities
- Helping shape medical standards and protocols
- Mentoring and supporting veterinary team members
- Evaluating new equipment, services, and medical initiatives
- Collaborating with management on hospital growth and development
- Supporting a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
- Serving as a clinical resource for the team
