About The Position
Wilson’s Animal Hospital, a long‑standing and trusted pillar of the St. Catharines community since 1949, is seeking an experienced and confident Lead Veterinarian to help guide our medical team through an exciting period of growth. Our hospital has been serving pets and their families in the heart of the Niagara Region for over 70 years, offering comprehensive veterinary services rooted in compassion, collaboration, and medical excellence. We are looking for an inspiring medical leader who can: Provide a strong and consistent medical voice within the clinic. Support and mentor a dedicated team of DVMs, RVTs, and support staff. Lead with confidence through upcoming organizational changes. Maintain high standards of patient care, client communication, and team development. Foster a collaborative, positive culture that reflects our long-standing reputation for compassionate care. This is a key medical leadership role - ideal for a veterinarian with depth of experience who thrives on guiding others, improving clinical standards, and helping a hospital continue to evolve.
Requirements
- Provincial DVM licensing
- Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Surgery experience
- Willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of both clients and patients
