About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating workers in the Project/Value Add Area to meet accuracy standards and deadlines for all customer orders and internal projects. The Lead will distribute daily work assignments, monitor productivity, train new employees, and assist the supervisor with performance reviews and cost analysis. They will also set up and maintain projects from start to finish, assist with work backlogs, and serve as a backup for Picking and Replenishment Leads during vacation times. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to create and maintain excel and word reports
Ability to operate a counterbalance
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Excellent communication, problem documentation, delegation, team leadership skills
Ability to master warehouse WMS system and Bartender Program
Equivalent to or at least a high school diploma
Minimum 2 yrs. warehouse Lead experience

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Radio Frequency helpful

Responsibilities

Distributes daily work assignments in accordance with procedures established by Picking Supervisor
Monitors productivity of workers and documents any system or personnel problems
Keeps supervisor informed of any projected delays, staff movement to other departments, and job assignments
Trains new employees
Assists supervisor with annual performance reviews
Sets up and maintains all projects from start to finish, while maintaining accuracy and meeting all shipping and internal deadlines
Assists with work backlogs as needed
Assists with cost analysis on projects
Back-up for Picking and Replenishment Leads during vacation times
Other duties as assigned
