About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Lead Ultrasound Technologist for Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves leading the daily administrative and technical operations of the Antenatal Testing Unit (ATU), performing advanced Level II OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in a Maternal Fetal Medicine environment, and coordinating department workflow to ensure exceptional patient care and operational efficiency. The Lead Ultrasound Technologist will collaborate closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, nursing leadership, administration, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with departmental policies, professional standards, and quality initiatives. This position also includes mentoring and supporting sonographers while maintaining high clinical standards, and joining a premier academic medical center dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Two-Year Allied Health Program REQUIRED (Ultrasound, Medical Sonography, or Radiology Preferred)
- Armed Forces Medic/Corpsman Program Accepted (DD-214 Required) REQUIRED
- RDMS (Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Certification REQUIRED
- Minimum Two Years of Level II OB/GYN Ultrasound Experience REQUIRED
- Strong Leadership, Organizational, and Communication Skills REQUIRED
- Ability to Coordinate Daily Department Operations REQUIRED

- Previous Supervisory Experience Strongly Preferred
