About The Position
The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking an experienced Lead Twos Teacher to guide a classroom serving 2-year-old learners. This role focuses on helping children build independence, communication skills, and social-emotional confidence through engaging classroom experiences and structured routines.
Requirements
- BA or AA in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted
- Candidates with 5+ years of classroom experience and high school diploma considered
- Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience leading a toddler or twos classroom preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom instruction and routines for 2-year-old children
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Support early language, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom updates
- Ensure compliance with NYC childcare licensing requirements
