About The Position
At The Learning Experience, our teachers create joyful classrooms where children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Through our L.E.A.P. curriculum, we support early language development, social-emotional growth, and structured routines that prepare children for preschool success. The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking an experienced Lead Twos Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom during this important stage of development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required
- Minimum 90 credits in Early Childhood Education required
- Experience working with toddlers required
- Must meet NYC childcare licensing requirements

- Lead teacher experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a 2-year-old classroom with structure, consistency, and warmth
- Implement lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support language development, independence, and peer interaction
- Guide toileting routines and classroom transitions
- Collaborate with assistant teachers to maintain classroom excellence
- Communicate regularly with families about progress and milestones
- Maintain compliance with NYC childcare licensing requirements
