Lead Turbine Design Engineer - AI/ML Application
About The Position
This position requires leading, performing, mentoring, and providing technical expertise on cooled and uncooled turbine components design and analysis. In addition, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and global research partners in charge of development of the next generation of simulation and analysis capabilities by integrating AI with traditional computational tools such as CFD, and multi-physics solvers. The Lead Turbine Design Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise as a program team leader in the identification and development of new turbine components. You will lead the design effort and be technically responsible for the project. You will provide reports to internal and customer senior stakeholders. You will lead proposals to address future business opportunities, value engineering and program/process changes.
Requirements
- Technical expertise on cooled and uncooled turbine components design and analysis.
- Experience with AI/ML applications in engineering.
- Proficiency in traditional computational tools such as CFD and multi-physics solvers.
- Experience in leading technical projects and teams.
- Ability to provide reports to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in leading proposals for business opportunities, value engineering, and process changes.
