The Lead Trauma/Burn Registrar is an integral member of the Trauma Registry. As the only ACS verified Level I Trauma Center and ABA verified Burn Center in the state, we provide essential care to over 4,000 patients with traumatic/burn injuries every year. Under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager, the Lead Trauma/Burn Registrar is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, completeness, and timeliness of trauma and burn registry data. This role supports the Trauma and Burn Services’ performance improvement activities and ongoing compliance with ACS, ABA, NTDB, TQIP, Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements. The Lead Trauma/Burn Registrar provides leadership in registry operations, including data quality assurance, education of registry staff, database management, external data submission, reporting, and participation in accreditation preparation and quality improvement initiatives.
