Manage the tool room/CTK and all associated programs in accordance with AFI 21-101, AFI 21-101 AFGSCSUP Chapter 8, and PWS requirements. This role involves maintaining an accurate inventory of all tools, equipment, and supplies, and managing the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) account. The attendant will utilize the AF enterprise Tool Accountability System, TCMax, to manage the checkout and check-in of all tools, test equipment, and HAZ items. The position requires adherence to strict protocols for handling and storing hazardous materials and chemicals, including tracking and managing HAZMAT chemicals to reduce waste and cost, updating Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders, and performing regular assessments for hazardous conditions to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Participation in hazardous waste handler and spill response training, support for emergency response plans, and familiarity with resources for controlling hazardous material incidents are also key aspects of this role. The attendant will assist in identifying, monitoring, and sampling hazardous materials and directing decontamination procedures if necessary. Management of Equipment Accounts and equipment procedures, along with a working knowledge of Air Force 21-101 and required Technical Orders, is essential. Flexibility to handle any program assigned by Site Management is also required.
