About The Position
The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a dependable Lead Toddler Teacher to guide a classroom serving children ages 12–24 months. This role focuses on supporting early language development, independence, and social interaction through structured routines and engaging daily activities. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy leading a classroom team during an important stage of early childhood development.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience required
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading a toddler classroom preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom routines for toddler-aged children
- Support language development and early social interaction
- Assist with diapering, meals, and rest-time transitions
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress
