About The Position
All God's Children (AGC) is seeking a part-time or full-time toddler room teacher for children aged 1-2 years old. This role involves providing love and quality care, planning age-appropriate experiences, interacting with children, and maintaining a clean classroom. The position requires a passion for working with young children.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must work well with children and have the energy and flexibility to meet the changing needs of children.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience working with children
- Prefer CDA certification
- Prefer understanding of childhood trauma and supportive strategies
Responsibilities
- Provide love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needs (1-2 years of age)
- Plan and execute indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
- Interacting with children or infants both physically and verbally throughout the day
- Clean and organize classroom
