About The Position

Join Kinderhouse Montessori as a Lead Toddler Montessori Guide! We are seeking AMI Certified educators to brighten children's lives and build their own bright futures. As a Lead Montessori Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following the Montessori pedagogy, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. Requirements

AMI Certification required
Currently enrolled in or have graduated from an AMI accredited training for the ages 0 to 3
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
High School Diploma or GED
12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following the Montessori pedagogy
Plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Assess and document student progress
Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children's progress and development
Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day
