About The Position

As a Lead Technician, you’ll be part of our Test Department team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to work with engineers to plan, set up, and execute tests on new power tool products. You will learn and apply new technologies that support product development and testing. You will collaborate with the team and Engineers to develop and validate new testing methods. You will gather, analyze, and interpret test data to identify issues and recommend solutions. You will provide mentorship and training to technicians on test methods and best practices. You will lead troubleshooting of complex technical problems and implement corrective actions. You will support the Reliability team in creating and maintaining test procedures. You will ensure lab processes, equipment use, and documentation meet safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant hands-on test lab or product development experience with advanced skills across test processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, capable of analyzing complex data and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge and use with lab test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
  • Skilled communicator, able to clearly convey technical findings and collaborate effectively across related teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
