About The Position

AnaVation is seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer to play an important role on our high-performing technical team. The successful candidate will be a multidisciplinary engineer who can develop and maintain test plans and maintain the associated test environment. The candidate must have experience with integration testing, regression testing, and unit testing. An ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of cloud, back-end, network and mobile apps. Duties include writing comprehensive test plans; performing thorough testing according to best practices; recording all details relevant to testing and outcomes; maintaining a library of completed test based on lessons learned; creating a library of test plans; assisting with release notes to ensure all details of new features are conveyed; and monitoring release pipelines to ensure products created by the team are fully tested and comply with goals and objectives. The candidate will interface daily with key government personnel and team members. This position will eventually be on site with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will work remotely until space is ready. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance to Huntsville should describe how they would satisfy this requirement. This position requires an existing Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of one year of related experience developing and executing test plans in a high demand production environment
  • Experience creating actionable tickets so that developers can easily locate the problem to be addressed
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate successfully onsite with our customer and team in a fast-paced operational environment
  • An existing Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph
