Being a member of the IT FinSight Delivery team, the Lead Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The position is part of the ETE (End-to-End) family, which encompasses three major areas: functional testing, non-functional testing, and test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. The role involves developing, conducting, and evaluating testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. A deep understanding of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches, including the creation of a reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization, is essential. The Test Engineering role ensures that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. It provides centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. The Lead Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met. This includes developing test plans and implementing them against corresponding test procedures, as well as developing automation scripts in Selenium Java and writing SQL queries.
