About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to be part of the Global Payments & Liquidity Treasury Technology organization helping to drive delivery of critical technology initiatives. In this role, you will lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams. You will act as a key participant in defining and delivering strategic solutions for payment modernization initiatives. You will evaluate highly complex payment processing challenges and serve as a payment domain subject matter expert with deep knowledge of ISO 20022, Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, and market connectivity operating rules. You will define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements. You will make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions. You will lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables. You will collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems and ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of experience in technical and business analysis, with a strong focus on payments initiatives; experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of payments domain experience with strong knowledge of Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, payment processing lifecycle, payment rails, and ISO 20022.
• 2+ years of Cloud-native technologies and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data. Experience applying AI for data analysis is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and prepare clear and concise documentation.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and drive consensus on solutions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
