About The Position

PLEX Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Technical System Engineer to support a contract in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This is a hybrid role, allowing for 2 days per week remote work. PLEX is a proud EOE Employer, including disability/vets.

Requirements

• Hybrid role, and requires 3 days a week in office and up to 2 days a week remote work.
• At least five years of experience performing in a Lead System Engineer role for a software development team
• Familiarity with software development using Unix/Linux, Java or Java Spring frameworks, RESTful micro-services (Spring Boot), and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
• Acting as liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
• Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
