About The Position

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Docusign’s P&T Program Management organization, you will operationalize and standardize the processes that drive Engineering and Product execution. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Finance, and TPgM peers to improve governance, streamline workflows, and integrate tooling and reporting frameworks. A key part of this role is enabling consistent adoption of standardized processes across teams and reducing the fire drills that slow delivery. In addition, you will partner with Product and Engineering to execute roadmap priorities and feature launches, ensuring teams are aligned on goals, timelines, and dependencies. This is an execution-focused role that provides critical leverage to scale the impact of central operations and support organizational transformation. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Technical Program Management.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of program management experience within technology organizations
  • Experience operationalizing and standardizing governance processes across engineering teams, including planning cycles, portfolio intake, and OKRs
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional, highly technical teams and interconnected workstreams to achieve top company priorities
  • Experience with program management tools (Jira, Confluence, Clarity, Smartsheet) and reporting platforms (Tableau, SQL, or equivalent), with experience building automations across tools and systems
  • Experience with program and delivery lifecycles, and integrating technical and business perspectives into decision-making
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience supporting CTO- or VP-level operations within a TPgM organization
  • Demonstrated success in scaling standardized processes and improving efficiency across large technical teams
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner across Engineering, Product, and TPgM peers
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or scaled delivery methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum@Scale)
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a proactive bias for action and dedication to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex cross-functional programs from concept through delivery, driving alignment from Product, Engineering, and TPgM organizations
  • Drive product and feature launches in partnership with Product and Engineering, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes
  • Establish and drive adoption of standardized governance processes and rhythms of business, including quarterly planning, portfolio intake, resource allocation, and leadership cadences
  • Integrate tooling and reporting into a single source of truth, delivering unified dashboards and reliable visibility into program and operational health
  • Identify and implement operational improvements that scale across teams and drive consistency in how programs are planned and executed
  • Track and surface risks, dependencies, and blockers across initiatives by way of deeply understanding the software development lifecycle and technical sequencing of events on the critical path, ensuring visibility and timely escalation to leadership
  • Contribute to TPgM playbooks and toolkits, helping to standardize processes and improve adoption across the organization
  • Provide TPgM support for high-priority initiatives, ensuring structure and execution rigor under tight timelines
