About The Position

This position is for a Lead Tech Business Management role at AT&T, focusing on implementing, improving, supporting, and leading processes, strategies, communications, and tools for technical organizations. It involves significant project leadership, influencing executive decisions, and mentoring less experienced staff, with a focus on long-term organizational impact and collaboration with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with Azure Sequel Server, Snowflake, Java type platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Business.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge.
  • Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions.
  • Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal technical support and vendor / offshore resources to ensure accurate and on-time daily production, resolve referential integrity issues, defects, and maintenance.
  • Interact with peers and leadership within and across multiple groups and workstreams as well as external vendors and technical support.
  • Make decisions that impact the business across multiple organizations, technical processes, business processes, and platform interfaces.
  • Set, evaluate, manage, and change daily / weekly system processing, prioritize defects, maintenance, and system fixes.
  • Test and evaluate for referential integrity issues between key tables and processes and determine solutions and solution implementation affecting internal team, external groups, and clients.
  • Define, design, and implement processes and process improvement within the technical organization.
  • Deploy tools and implement Agile methodology.
  • Manage audit and compliance reviews; conduct process and quality reviews and audits; oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Coordinate infrastructure programs and manage roadmaps.
  • Engage in strategic and tactical planning activities.
  • Create communications for technical organizations.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and effectively communicate business information to technical support.
  • Seek out, identify, and solve problems that arise at the intersection of technical and business operations.
  • Adapt to changing requirements, priorities, technologies, and business needs.
  • Collaborate effectively and energetically with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients, users, and support from different areas.
  • Analyze data and information to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Build effective relationships.
  • Manage very complex tech business management processes such as analyzing data and reporting, managing financials, Front Door, etc.
