About The Position

We are currently seeking a dependable, enthusiastic Lead Teacher for a full-time opportunity in our child care center! The Lead teacher will maintain a positive and healthy learning environment and facilitate developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote the physical and intellectual development of children in the center. Patience and compassion are a must, as well as the ability to work well with and to communicate with co-teachers and parents.

Requirements

• Completion of courses for certification in child care education
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required
• Ability to work well with and communicate with co-teachers and parents
• Love working with children
• Work best in a team-focused environment

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Level 5 or higher on the Wisconsin Registry preferred
