Lead Teacher- Two Year Old Classroom
About The Position
The Lead Teacher in the Two Year Old Classroom coordinates the daily operations of the assigned class and plans, presents, and evaluates educational and recreational activities in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents each day to provide quality customer service. The school describes a supportive, nurturing workplace with on-site Directors and Owners, opportunities to collaborate with teachers on engaging curriculum, and ways to communicate children’s experiences and achievements to parents, including through mobile apps and personal discussions. The role offers opportunities to continue developing teaching skills and grow professionally.
Requirements
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Meet background check eligibility.
- Successfully complete state-required pre-service training.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of previous teaching experience preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
