About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CDA
• Associates in Education or equivalent
• DCF 90 Hours
• 2-3 years experience working in a childcare facility

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the classroom, designing and directing age-appropriate activities that cultivate the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
• Lead the implementation of the provided curriculum, ensuring children from infancy to school age are academically and socially prepared for a successful transition into kindergarten.
• Oversee daily care routines—such as feeding, hygiene, and nap time.
• Mentor junior team members and substitutes to maintain high standards of classroom management.
• Partner with families to provide consistent updates on their child’s progress and developmental milestones.
