About The Position

Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher to support preschool children’s learning and development in a child care center. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, mentoring fellow Teachers, promoting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and following licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The listed work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
