About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Lead Teacher for our Young Preschool program. This role involves engaging with children to build their social, emotional, and educational skills. The ideal candidate will be friendly, nurturing, and positive, with excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and staff.
Requirements
- Willingness to obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate.
- Willingness to get a background check/fingerprints.
- Willingness to get a TB test.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with 180 clock hours in Early Childhood Development, OR a CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood.
- Must be 19 years old.
Responsibilities
- Positively engage with children of all ages to build social, emotional, and educational skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members.
- Attend evening meetings or family events as needed.
- Maintain required training mandated by state licensing and Great Start to Quality (24 hours per year).
- Physically move, run, dance, and crawl at the children's level.
- Lift and carry children as needed.
