About The Position

A great early learning classroom is a place where children feel comfortable asking questions, brave enough to try, and proud of every discovery. Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is looking for a Lead Teacher at West View who can create that environment-one filled with warmth, encouragement, curiosity, and connection. You'll help young children build the confidence and skills that become the foundation for what comes next. As Lead Teacher, you'll guide a nurturing and inclusive classroom with meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences. You'll plan engaging activities, support each child's progress, build relationships with families, and help every child feel known, valued, and excited to participate. You'll work closely with an Assistant Teacher, providing daily direction and coaching that keeps your classroom running smoothly and helps your team succeed together. We're looking for someone who brings patience, positivity, and enthusiasm for helping children grow. You can embrace the energy of a busy classroom while staying organized, dependable, and attentive to the responsibilities of leading one.

Requirements

At least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Meet DCYF eligibility requirements.
Hold an Early Childhood Education certification or be in the process of obtaining one.
