Lead Teacher - Summer School

City Garden Montessori School (City Garden) is the only Montessori charter school in Missouri, and we are one of the highest-performing charter schools in the state. Under the direction of the Director of Summer School, the Lead Teacher is responsible for providing an instructional program based on grade level. Each classroom will have an assistant as well. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of teaching and classroom experience
- Missouri State Certification in Elementary or early Childhood Education - THIS IS REQUIRED. Those have only Substitute certification do not qualify.
Responsibilities
- Providing instruction that supports the development of the cognitive, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth of the child
- The preparation of materials and environment that meets the sensitive period/plane of development of the students
- Providing supervision and enriching activities during non-academic times as needed
