About The Position

Columbia Academy is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join their team at the Thunder Hill location. This role offers a $1,000 hiring bonus and focuses on creating a positive learning environment for students while supporting teacher development. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, planning activities, and assessing student progress. Requirements

Ability to work during the hours of operation Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 6 PM, work schedule is based on business needs
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
45 hours of Child Growth and Development
45 hours in Preschool Curriculum
Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Associates or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field
