About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Talent & Performance Management Consultant to join their transforming team and support the implementation of proactive Talent Management initiatives across the enterprise. As they explore opportunities to provide solid career pathing, succession planning, and team effectiveness, the Lead Talent & Performance Management Consultant will work closely with members of the Human Resources Business Partner team. In this role, you will partner with Line of Business HR Business Partners to support senior-level talent management to the Operating Committee members, and support the HR Business Partners in executing enterprise talent practices for the first three levels of talent across the organization. You will manage key talent programs and participant experiences by providing coaching, ensuring strong execution, and tracking key outcomes to drive consistent enterprise adoption. You will apply Talent Management policies, procedures, and compliance requirements and influence the broader team to meet enterprise deliverables. You will collaborate with peers, partners, and mid-to-senior level leaders to provide proactive, consultative solutions on talent strategy. You will provide thought partnership to HRBPs and leaders on talent outcomes, including performance differentiation, role readiness, succession and role movement decisions. Leverage data, insights, and enterprise frameworks to inform talent discussions, identify risks, and guide leadership decision-making. Ensure enterprise talent processes are implemented with consistency, rigor, and sound judgement. Support senior-level planning discussions, including preparation of materials, synthesis of insights, and follow through on agreed actions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Talent Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Financial services industry experience, with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex, matrixed HR and Shared Services environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to deliver accurate, polished work and identify errors across complex documents and data.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, including building clear, compelling executive presentations and developing sophisticated spreadsheets (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tools, concepts, and business contexts, and apply learning effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage key stakeholders, building strong relationships, communicating clearly, and balancing multiple perspectives to drive outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), with a consumer‑centric mindset and the ability to resolve conflicts, prioritize outcomes, and effectively influence executives, senior leaders, Line of Business stakeholders, and internal partners.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing deliverables and facilitate alignment across diverse audiences.
  • Ability to proactively identify and drive process improvements, enhancing client outcomes while effectively managing risk across processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Demonstrated experience in Talent Management, Performance Management, or Succession Planning, supporting enterprise or line‑of‑business talent initiatives.
